The number of people born in the United States has risen to the highest level since 1949, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and it’s a trend that is sure to continue as the population ages.
The CDC found that the number of babies born in America has risen from 3.6 million in 1950 to 7.1 million in 2017.
In total, 1.4 million babies were born between January 1, 1951 and January 1 of this year.
That’s a 2.2 percent increase from the year before.
